Watermark an image
Add text or a local PNG logo to one photo, preview the placement, and export a new image.
Batch watermark and recipes
Up to 20 files; 25 MB each (HEIC 20 MB, SVG 1 MB). Maximum 8192 px per side and 32 megapixels. Files stay on this device.
AVIF reading and export depend on your browser. Unsupported formats report an error without uploading your file. SVG accepts only static shapes: no text, CSS, references, scripts, images, animation or external resources.
HEIC exports a single still image. Live Photo video, extra frames and original metadata are not retained.
Method and example
Choose a photo and enter a caption or select a transparent PNG logo. Size is the text font size or logo width in source pixels. Placement uses the selected position and margin; oversized marks shrink to fit. For a 100 × 100 image, a 40 × 20 logo at bottom right with a 10-pixel margin occupies X=50, Y=70. Preview and export use the same drawing rules. A watermark does not prevent copying or removal.
Limits and privacy
One static JPG/PNG/WebP up to 25 MiB, 8192 pixels per side and 32 million pixels. PNG logo: 5 MiB, 4096 pixels per side and 8 million pixels. Animated files are rejected. Preview is reduced; export keeps source dimensions and applies EXIF orientation. Fresh Canvas encoding drops original EXIF/GPS/IPTC/XMP and thumbnails. JPG uses a white background and lossy compression; PNG is recommended for precise redaction. Available encoders and memory depend on your browser. Files, captions and rectangles remain in page memory and are not uploaded, logged or saved to storage.
